Grrrrrrooooochmmmbllll,
the terrifying beast from the entrails of the land, deep down underneath my paws, didn't come back last night, or early this morning. I was so relieved! I hope the demon will not return.

Hi, Big Boy!
This is Atticus - or AtticPuss.... blogging in. Loved your blogs! Know what you mean about creatures with skin that comes off. Got one here; it wears varying kinds of skin - to confuse the enemy? - so i never know what to expect from one day to the next. And it has funny shiny dangly bits hanging from its ears. Don't know what those are for. Then there's another smaller creature - but a lot bigger than me - with kind of fur and a rather large mouth. It tries to catch me and I think it wants to eat me, but I am little and can get through the tiniest gap, and I have a HISSSSS that wouldn't disgrace the Ancient Ones in Egypt. I also pack a mean, sharp claw. The furry one sulks a lot under a shelter of some kind these days. Well, tough. This is MY pad. As you will appreciate.
I was nearly called Hoodeeeny or some such - heard the skin-shedding one saying that, apparently because I escape easily. Then it decided on Atticus, which I think is good. Sounds kinda legendary, don't it? Hoodeeny is a daft name, if you ask me. Are you boy or gilr, Lushkin? Have called you Boy, but don't know. You're a very beautiful cat, whatever. A credit to our species.
Purr, purr, from
Atticus.
P.S. I'm sending you a recent photo.
